One of the many foundations of successful entrepreneurship is constantly accumulating knowledge and ensuring that knowledge is transferred, maintaining a willingness to innovate and S³, Sustainably Securing Succession, in order to guarantee stability, continuity and prosperity. This principle has been Mannhart & Fehr’s secret recipe since it was founded.
This is because m&F regularly appoints younger specialists to responsible management positions in order to secure the continuity of expertise, account management and the company. And just such an important milestone was recently marked again, with the existing three members of management (Markus Tanner, Daniel Fehr and Julien Carrard) increasing their number from three to five. As of 1 January 2019, they have welcomed Simon Fehr and Fabian Scherle into their ranks as equal partners and, in keeping with the magic formula of “1 + 1 = 5”, affirmed that they are (and also want to be) more than simply the sum of their parts.
Simon Fehr has already been working as an Account Manager at m&F for more than two years. He previously worked at Credit Suisse as well as the major auditing firms KPMG and EY. After studying for a Master’s degree at the University of St. Gallen, Simon also obtained diplomas as an auditor and tax advisor. When not working, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling and playing sport.
Fabian Scherle’s career has been similar to those of his new fellow managers and partners because, after gaining a Master’s degree from the University of St. Gallen, he worked at Credit Suisse and UBS, after which he became a manager at PWC and then obtained post-graduate diplomas as an auditor and tax advisor. He has been working as an Account Manager for Mannhart & Fehr for almost two years. And, as you guessed, he also recuperates from the intensity of work by playing tennis and going skiing. But also, unlike his colleagues, with a game of cards (Jass).
